This is your opportunity to have all your questions answered and pick the brain of someone who's seen it all before. We've tended gardens across the tri-state area and helped others just like you solve problems and take steps towards bigger (or your first) harvests!

Our Garden Planning Consultation includes a 2-hour, one-on-one consultation where we'll test your soil, discuss your goals, and figure out an ideal layout to get the most out of every square foot. We'll also help you decide what varieties to grow based on your personal food preferences and the unique growing conditions of your garden!
You’ll receive a personalized, comprehensive garden plan that will include:

A full planting and harvest schedule for you to follow for spring, summer, and fall plantings.

A detailed diagram of your garden, illustrating optimal plant placement and spacing, with a blank digital copy that can be used for future planning.

One of the biggest hurdles for new gardeners is learning how to start their own plants from seed. Though it is likely the most fickle aspect of gardening, there is something uniquely gratifying about harvesting something you grew from a once seemingly insignificant seed.

In-home canning and preserving lesson.
Enjoy the fruits of your labor year-round, and open yourself up to a whole new menu by learning the lost art of preserving!

If you can buy it at the grocery store, odds are you can grow it and make it better, free from chemicals and preservatives.
In general, skills reviewed include:
- Pickling & Water bath canning
- Pressure canning
- Blanching, freezing, and vacuum-sealing.
- Curing & cold storage solutions.

Most importantly, you'll how to make the whole process as efficient as possible, important safety precautions, as well as the best way to preserve things based on how you use them, the time available to you, and your storage options.

Don't have a pressure canner or vacuum sealer around? Neither do most people. That's why we come prepared with all the materials needed, including jars, handling tools, and a pressure canner.
